Privacy policy

The provisions below constitute a privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as “Privacy Policy”), which defines the information concerning the collection and processing of data, including personal data of Users of services provided by DOTSENS Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Bartoszyce, Warmińska 23, 11-200 Bartoszyce, entered into the national court register under the number: 0000649060, with a share capital of PLN 5,000 (hereinafter referred to as “DOTSENS”). By accepting the Terms and Conditions of the Treesat Platform, the Users also accept the Privacy Policy.

Entity collecting personal data

The entity collecting personal data is DOTSENS.

1. DOTSENS collects and processes User data for the purpose of providing the Service. DOTSENS collects and uses the following User data::

    1. data entered by the User, including the User’s personal data – during registration, the User is asked to provide certain data, including personal data with the User’s consent – with the User’s consent. DOTSENS processes, in order to provide the service and necessary activities related to the provision of the service, the data selected and entered by the user, including personal data with the user’s consent and makes available to other users, in order to provide the service to other users, the data selected and entered by the user, including personal data with the user’s consent. The personal data provided may also be used to provide technical support and communication with users
    2. login data – for the purpose of logging in to the service, the following personal data of the user may be used: mobile phone number and e-mail address
    3. data collected automatically – DOTSENS collects information concerning the connection of the end user’s device with the DOTSENS teleinformatic system, including: information concerning mobile devices and the computer from which the user logs in and logging in the so-called system logs including the date, time of the visit and IP number of the device from which the connection took place, as well as data concerning statistics on page views and traffic on the pages
    4. communication – for the purpose of communication with Users, DOTSENS may collect and store correspondence with Users. DOTSENS may collect and store contact information in the form of information: the user’s telephone number, e-mail address, message content and date and time. If the User contacts DOTSENS e.g. by e-mail or telephone, DOTSENS may require personal data such as name, surname, e-mail address, etc. to be provided to the User. The personal data that DOTSENS collects from the User in this way is only used for the purpose of answering a question, providing information or technical support
    5. Cookies – DOTSENS uses cookies that improve the quality of service provided to Users by storing their preferences. DOTSENS uses the mechanism of cookies stored on the User’s device. Cookies are not intended to obtain any information about individual Users – it is used to preserve the User’s navigation parameters and logging status, aggregating statistical data about the Users’ traffic, optimizing the emission of advertisements and improving the functioning of a given application in accordance with the standards in force on the web. Cookies may also be used by advertisers, research companies and suppliers of multimedia applications cooperating with DOTSENS. The user can delete cookies or change their settings on their device. Deleting or changing the settings of cookies in the User’s device may result in difficulties in using the Service
    6. third party applications – DOTSENS also provides access to applications made available by third parties. Information collected by DOTSENS after switching on the application is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Information collected by the provider of such an application is covered by the third party’s privacy policy.

2. In addition, DOTSENS may use the collected data:

2.1. to develop new functionalities within the Service as well as to improve it;

2.2. to create new services;

2.3. to protect the rights of DOTSENS;

2.4. if it is necessary for the fulfilment of the legitimate purposes pursued by DOTSENS or the recipients of the data and the processing does not infringe the rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Provision of data by DOTSENS

1. DOTSENS guarantees that personal data provided will not be disclosed to third parties, except in cases where:

    1. the obligation to provide access to personal data results from the applicable legal regulations or when the transfer is for the purpose of protecting the rights of DOTSENS or resolving disputes;
    2. The user has agreed to the transfer of personal data to third parties.
  1. DOTSENS also indicates that:
    1. personal data will be made available to third parties with the help of which DOTSENS performs certain functions that are appropriate for the current activity, e.g. billing or ensuring the functionality of the application data. DOTSENS makes every effort to ensure that third parties to whom personal data is made available for the purpose indicated above treat the personal data provided in accordance with the Privacy Policy and in a manner consistent with the applicable legal regulations in this respect;
    2. data, other than personal data, may be made available to third parties in an aggregated form, characterizing the population of users to current and potential business partners of DOTSENS;
    3. personal data and data other than personal data may be made available to third parties if the user uses applications provided by third parties, of which the user is informed before using the application. The transfer of data from the DOTSENS teleinformatic system takes place in this case at the user’s request and risk.

User rights with regard to personal data

DOTSENS provides the users providing personal data to DOTSENS with the exercise of their rights resulting from the relevant provisions of law, including the right to request completion, updating, correction of personal data, temporary or permanent suspension of their processing or their deletion, if they are incomplete, outdated, untrue or have been collected in violation of the law or are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. The user has the right to delete their personal data at any time. For this purpose, the actions indicated in the DOTSENS terms of service provision must be carried out, but personal data collected automatically cannot be changed or deleted. In the event that the user considers such a solution to be insufficient, he or she may contact DOTSENS in writing.

Security of personal data

DOTSENS applies technical and organisational measures aimed at the best possible protection of personal data collected by DOTSENS against unauthorized access or misuse by unauthorized persons. The technical measures in place are updated in line with the development of new technologies, needs, as well as available security measures. The organisational measures in place ensure that only persons authorised by DOTSENS have access to the user’s personal data within the DOTSENS structure. DOTSENS regularly checks the compliance of its activities with applicable laws and the Privacy Policy. DOTSENS cooperates with state institutions responsible for monitoring the collection and processing of personal data and always implements their possible recommendations.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Developments in technology and legislation mean that the Privacy Policy may change and DOTSENS will inform you of these changes.
